ESPN 30 For 30 -The House Of Steinbrenner

Just finished watching "The House Of Steinbrenner" and this was by far my favourite of the 30 for 30's that EPSN has produced yet. The documentary covers many very interesting topics through stories told by various people involved with the team including reporters, office staff, construction workers and bat boys. But none more telling than those shared by the fans. You don't really know or understand what true sports fan is until you go to New York and sit amongst the stands with Yankee fans. The original Yankee stadium was HOME for them and was held very close to their hearts. I believe the words during a brief interview with a 9 year old kid describe this the best: "If you loose this stadium, then you loose nearly a hundred years of history that the Yankees have worked hard with blood, sweat and tears...the new stadium is fine, but this stadium is their home to us" (part 1, 7:50). Watch the entire docu here via YouTube before it gets removed. I will add a torrent once I find a safe one for you all. Enjoy.
