First Nike Air Jordan Commercial
Nike took the NBA by storm and changed future of athletic footwear when they first released the Air Jordan 1 back in 1984. The shoe didn't revolutionize footwear because it was athleticly groundbreaking, rather it stood out because of its fashion. Its vibrant colors combined with Michels aggressive style created a subculture. Fans, the league and more importantly people who didn't watch basketball raved over this phenomena. At the time the NBA banned the shoe because it didn't comply with the leagues equipment regulations that required its players to only wear majority white colored shoes. Consequently the league fined Jordan $5000 for every time he steped out onto the court with his black and varsity red Nike's on. The marketing department at Nike couldn't have asked for a better gift from the league. They willingly agreed to pay the fines and spun the ban into a brilliant campain that attracked millions of consumers. Today, more than two decades later Nike continues to release new versions of the Jordan 1 as it's popularity persists.
Hong Kong Nike Sportswear Store
"Designed for sport, remastered for life, Nike Sportswear celebrates new expressions of style."
This past summer Nike launched their first stand-alone Sportswear store in New York's Soho district. The store was a huge success and as a result Nike has created a second location in Hong Kong. The store opens its doors tomorrow (October 25,2008) and will sell a wide selection of Nike eight top-line products: the Air Force 1, Windrunner, AW 77 Hoody, Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Eugene Track Jacket, Cortez and NSW Tee. These eight products were first designed when Nike began as one of the first American companies to focus on sport. The Sportswear line brings those historic items back to the forefront and re-invents them with the use of new materials, designs and technologies.

Blackberry Storm
In case you just crawled out from under a rock, you very well know Apple sold a lot of iPhones last year. More than 10 million which generated a revenue of $7.9 billion dollars and a $1.14 billion dollar profit for Mr. Jobs. Blackberry's attempt to derail Apple's profit train and regain some of the cell phone market is this new 'iPhone killer', the "Blackberry Storm." Blackberry's new creation will maintain all of the functions that once revolutionized cell phones forever and will try to re-invent the touchscreen with their new "click-able" screen that gives it a tractile feel. Right now the offical release date is unknown but the "Blackberry Storm" is rumored to release in November of 2008.

Jordan 3 Black/Cement Grey
Arguably the best original Jordan of all time and surely to be the hardest to get your hands on of the countdown packs comes the Black/Cement Grey Jordan 3. This special shoe was the first shoe sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield created for the Jordan line. It was Tinker's idea to place the now famous jumpman logo on the back of the shoe, and to add the "elephant print” on the toe box. The end result was a fashionable shoe that was both very durable and lightweight. This re-release of Black/Cement Grey will hit shelves along with the Jordan 20 this Saturday October 18.

New Macbooks
Today Apple finally introduced their next generation of notebooks. The first Mr. Jobs alteration was the introduction of a different material that the cases were constructed from. If you owned one of the last generations you surely would have had to get the case replaced as the first plastic that was used was easily susceptible to cracking and chipping. In addition to the weak material, the black constantly had to be wiped down if you didn't want them to look like a shopping mall glass door window. Accordingly the Macbook recieved an aluminum shell with a black glass display along with an extra 5 hours of battery life. The new prices are now $1299 for the 2.0GHz/160GB/2GB RAM/Superdrive version and $1599 for the 2.4 GHz/250GB version.

i.TV app for iPhone and iPod touch
Here is one of my favorite applications for the iPhone. i.Tv combines both your local tv guide listings and movie theater show times into one easy application. If that's not enough for you it also has a community feature where i.TV users can rate/recommend shows and write reviews. The best part about i.TV is that it's free!
